Dig Abstract Art Contents |
Abstract Digital Art Table of ContentsWith the advent of digitization, the artwork leaves the canvas or the picture plane, at least as point of origin. In order to get something that can be displayed on a physical wall, the work must first be reproduced by such processes as printing. Large printers called plotters can make the work as large as a billboard and the picture plane, canvas or anything else, becomes the "substrate" that is printed on. Otherwise the finished work is viewed on monitors or lcd plasma screens or whatever else comes along. Gallery One
