This view of the opposite slope of the White Pass presents an awesome vista. A sheer mountainside presents a wall of rock diminishing in the distance. Up it snake the slivers of pine forests as they ascend to as far as possible. Until the tree line allows them to advance no further.

In the foreground the bright green broadleaf trees welcome the springtime sunlight and grow quickly anticipating the dark winter ahead.
