Distant hills like emeralds surround in tufts the rugged purple of the mountains' rocks. Sloping, rocky, forbidden landscapes. And the grade of the train it's notch shade and light on the sides of green slopes. The foreground greets the viewer with it's detailed leafy views, a spray of pine jutting out immediately behind.
