Two Sea Gulls in a Flash of Time.
Green golds and blue greens wend their ways through the diagonal streaking in this version of the digital work to greet a softer edge of the stark dark color of the boulders in the
jetty where the two sea gulls rest after a busy day.
The composition though busy with the diagonal lines of the digital filters, conveys a sense of peacefulness in the quietness of the pastel blends and the regularity of the waves.
In the distance the gentle curve of the horizon reminds us how small this planet of ours really is. The haze of the diagonal strokes subdues the forms of the surfers waiting on their boards for waves, diminishing them to a proper perspective that they are only a small part of this scene. Indeed, I've heard that's how most of them want it anyway. They all have a respect of sorts for the nature they are out in and have come more and more, mostly, to feel a part of it.
