actionable intelligence
Two administrations, the current one (2004) and the past one are claiming nine eleven
unpreparedness on a lack of actionable intelligence. In fact the public, by and large, is blaming 911 on the country's spies.
What! You expect those agents to die for you? Put your finger down, Lackey. Go back to cooking your books. Don't expect actionable
intelligence. Nobody's going to die for you. If you want to know, quit your job and go out and find out for yourself. It's cheaper than Russian Roulette. You don't have to pay for the bullet.
Oh, let me guess. You want democracy and freedom so you can go out, get drunk, and just do whatever you want. Ok, baby. You just lost it. America has a civilian army of goof balls that have done more to defeat it than Cornwallis' Red-coat
army ever could. It's own citizens are doing more to destroy it than any enemy could. Welcome to the real world.
Maybe you'll be fortunate and things won't fall down around your ears. It may take a little longer. Maybe you'll be able to live out your selfish little life for another decade, though it doesn't look like it. Just don't go around expecting cold war quality
intelligence, most of the best won't die for you. Intelligence is a two way street.
They know quite a bit of what's going in in America as well as out of America.
Maybe they even know it all.
