Communism Defeats Capitalism

Deng Xiaoping knew he had an ace in the hole. The Asian penchant for patience.

What kind of a defeat was it? Not Stalinist, or Maoist, Khrushchevian, or Leninist or even Trotskyite. It was a Marxist defeat of capitalism.

In all the 20th-century malay, everybody forgot Karl Marx's ace in the hole, didn't they? Of course they did. They're not very smart, you know.

They forgot the Marxist "Principle of History" and the basic plank of the whole Marxist treatise:" thesis, antithesis, synthesis".

How do I know? Man, I learned this stuff in high school! You probably did to. By the early sixties, Marx was history. No big deal. But the stupid jerks that forgot bit, hook line and sinker and outsourced the business to the one big still existent communist country: China.

China has become the synthesis of both Communism and Capitalism. Now they want a piece of your 40-percent pie of the global energy supply, and they are going to get it. And astalavista, el stupido, you are on the dead-end street of the Dodo.

The only people who could have rescued you are now lobotomized by your destabilization program to turn the masses into impulse-buyers and mindless consumers.

You joke. You destroyed the only ones who could have saved you. Bye-bye, dumbbell.

You might wonder what I am. I'm neither of the two of your narrow-minded spectrum. Right, left, center. That concept is far too simplistic. I'm a "cautiouscist". Possibly the only one in existence. I lived for twenty-five contiguous years, practically,  of my adult life without television.

All kidding aside, no one in their right mind would have done what these American businessmen have done and that is as we say in the vernacular, "sell the farm".  They are on a campaign, intentional or not, to emulate the slave labor techniques of -- shall we just say -- elsewhere, and are about to transform the United States blue collar workers and a whole lot of white collar workers as well into sweat shop laborers.

In the final analysis, it's a kind of wry justice in that the developing nations, particularly China are getting a real break here, and in fact many or most of the people in those countries were really in a bad way and though the working conditions are reputed to be bad, over there the money goes a heck of a lot farther so in most cases they might just be a lot better off with all the US production being shipped to their local sweat shops.  But the American neo-sweat shop worker will fare far worse.

Even if the employer's lobbyists for a while at least, fail to do away with the minimum wage, or people even resist having to resort to laboring illegally for less than the minimum wage just for some income, they'll never be able to afford the First World housing let alone the food prices and you'll probably have to steel yourself to incessant reports of deaths related to starvation and exposure in North America.  People in many places in America even now can't afford housing.

Oh, and another thing.  Though the dollar will still be minted, you might just find out that the inaccessibility of necessities to the new middle and lower classes will be compounded by the need to do most transactions in Euros and not the native Dollar.  With all the duress that's in the cards, there might even be a rejuvenation of the American Communist Party, considering that Communism has done so well in China.  And don't forget Cuba, who is now benefiting from Chinese assistance.  Perhaps the domino effect is ready to have a second chance in South America.

What can I say?  You let your guard down for just one minute and look what happens.  I'll bet you thought you won when the Berlin Wall came down.  Ha.  It looks like the most efficient Communists on the face of the Earth, the East German ones, now reunited with West Germany, are getting together with the red rose Socialist Party of France.  You know, the one that put Mitterrand in office a while back?

I understand.  You wanted a chance to dance and wave the flag a little bit.  Well, now it looks like time to pay the piper.  And that might just have to be Euros only.
