In One Ear and In the Other
In one ear and in the other and down the spinal column (read the warning label -- and weep).
The real brain drain is the death of brain tissue. it goes down the drain through the spinal
column.
Think of yourself as a little fountain in a sack. Your physical existence is spraying away and as it sprays, it disposes of all brain tissue that through either due to damage or disuse, is disposed of naturally.
Some ways the brain gets disposed of inordinately are: alcohol abuse, some kinds of drugs, teaching and rock-n-roll. There are many other ways but as the brain "thins out" so do you. After a while, if that's you, you may look like the same person albeit a bit older, but you won't be inside. Inside you'll be just a hollow shell, and often one with a newly-acquired criminal mentality.
