Terrorists -- Made in America

Their actions now are the result in many cases, of their having to endure starvation as children.

Congratulations.  You do have a domestic product, even if made abroad.  Your oil people first starved them and stunted their mental development, then your anything-goes-cold-warrior CIA trained them.  Now the momma cat has a bunch of little intelligence kittens at the Pentagon.

Now everyone's human and can make mistakes even on a vast collective level.  But you've got to have an option open that everything's going to backfire in case the ideals were totally off base.  The thing is, that public out there, they'll never forgive you.  Not only is it a thankless job, but it resulted in an incredible flop.

One solution is to gain the capability to operate without the need for intelligence.  It's not impossible.  The other side's own intelligence will then defeat them and you keep your public relations intact.  It is possible to gain the tactical advantage in a conflict with public intelligence.  The essence of attrition is the need for secrecy.  It keeps your men on the ground in the dark.

With all the recourses you waste on Intel, you could have gotten the edge with just flanking skills alone.  The ability to act under inspiration is the ultimate secret in itself.  Intel and the ability to find out could do infinitely better when set on your own side rather than the opposition.  Introspective Intel reduces the frequency of error in conflict and that alone would sew up the outcome.

But when you realize the frequency of the terrorist leadership and other miscreants, that in so many cases United States Intel had a hand in their advent on the world scene, one has to eventually wonder if that weren't done on purpose.  How much of all this mess was -- quote -- made in America and why?  Sometimes it even looks like you wanted these guys to rise up for some sort of ulterior purpose in your sordid little secrecy game.

Well, here's a disclosed secret for you.  It has an ultimate end.  Like a giant equation on the stage of history, it's working itself down to zero.  And that's a stage you don't want to be a player on.  Why?  It's a gut feeling.  I'm telling you, opt out.
