You Have to Spend to Make
Oh, my my... Do the little darlings not like the prospect of spending a measly little half trillion on sending a manned
expedition to Mars. This is why the founding fathers tried to set up things so that only the intelligencia really had a say in things.
The money is worthless. Do you understand. It's not even worth the paper it's printed on. The only thing that gives the buck a bang is in how it's used. It has become the symbol of usefulness and confidence in times past.
This is what happened to the former Soviet Union. The mechanism was not in place for investment. It rendered the currency practically worthless. They had other things of value, however, such as oil and gold, but it wasn't good enough. What defeated them was human nature. Human intervention in the natural market place of man.
The United States had opportunities of great investment in the past that the trite, tight-fisted wealthy morons
managed to lobby down. The moon expeditions, operation mole hole, and on and
on.
