Cleptocracy

Cleptocracy: a government and country given to theft and crime.

The United States is not a democracy, but rather, it is a cleptocracy. The freedom is merely existent to afford minorities or individuals the right to damage and swindle others.

It is a land given to crime where the legal system can be wrested to defend the guilty and condemn those portrayed as guilty by bavarication. A land with a blatant disregard for it's citizens, favoring instead the price gouger and the hustler.

It is a land in which the individual is ruled by the credit rating rather than by the rights of that person as a citizen. The star spangled banner no longer waves over the land of the free and the home of the brave, which by now might be somewhere in Europe or Australasia. As for the so-called United States, it is the land of the working homeless and the home of the outsourcing coward. As for the rest of them, the neutrals, give them their beer and pseudo hundred-grand-a-year incomes and they'll all just shut up and vanish back in the woodwork and chipboard of their million dollar hovels built in harm's way of the next onslaught of force five hurricanes.

Oh there might be a few brave and free and so on and so forth left, but it's just a matter of time before they, too, succumb to the ravages of unpopularity.
