Life Prevails

By Paul Hall, April, 1986, Mt. Isa, Australia.

Often, when in wonder lost

the elements conform,

a yieldedness to innocence

doeth miracles perform

upon a stage of time and space

where never there could be

a hope that dared to show a face

to let the seers see.

To send bereft defiant stance

and, in a courage, fight

for what would supercede all wrong,

and invade doubt's night.

The thinking of the flavor's text

of balances that flow,

when hopelessness had done it's best

to spoil undaunted's show,

but, live prevailed, the sun will set

upon a melted earth;

and there beyond in splendor lasts

all that was of worth.

To send bereft defiant stance

and, in a courage, fight

for what would supercede all wrong,

and invade doubt's night.

Invade doubt's night.
