Scientific Journals, Gateway to Ignorance.
You'd be amazed at how secretive those with the
pedigrees actually are.

Long ago in the Dark Ages, maybe known to you as the twentieth century, before the internet, there were a few rags that kept the lid on scientific discovery and well, really, knowledge in general. Back in those days you had to have a
pedigree in all sorts of disciplines before you could even be considered to be published, or, in other words communicate an idea about anything remotely to do with science.
Now, anyone can say, hey, what about this? And maybe, perhaps, there can be rapid
response to the remotest discoveries and we can make some progress for a change. Now, the rags are beginning to get upset and are resorting
to their auspices in the propaganda machines that are undoubtedly a party to them, screaming that mantra, "check their financing"
and "conflict of interest" in reaction to scientists that are
arising outside of their skeptical little elitist folds. Get real. As if anyone with any brains can't see who's holding their leash.
Do you believe everything you hear? Well, oddly enough, that's how the mind works. It tends to gravitate towards the
preponderance of information or disinformation it takes in. That's when I become skeptical. When these B.S. artists begin to scream "I'm not finished", I say to myself, "you are in my book, bud." and turn them off. These are the only
dinosaurs that scream when they're going extinct. So now they try
mind control and legalism, and it might work. We live, as Gretta says,
in a litigant age. That kind of litigation makes for lousey
science.
These who want to "send a signal" to readers under pretences such as guardians of verifiable knowledge are still trying to slam the door. Oh, tough luck, guys. The door's shut, so they walk around the building and leave it in the dust.
And that's how small you are. A speck in the history of true
science.
So all these little watch-dogs are now in a huff about not only trying to disneylandize the
internet and drown out the small guy, but also as an npr report quotes it, "navigate the waters of conflict of interest". Watch out, kid. Someday the watchdogs will outlaw your chemistry set.

Not that scientific journals aren't great reading, if you can afford them and the time to read them. But you see, in a functional world there has to be a way around all that for the exception if not the rule. It's
astonishing that they just may be responsible for holding science in check; that all significant advancement has been done in spite of them, not because of them. They therefore should exist and even flourish,
not exclusively, but in parallel to
myriads of other avenues of scientific exchange.
There should be an avenue for even the lowliest of the uneducated to publish ideas somehow, that a reputable,
working scientist can take up in partnership. Don't you see that the broader the spectrum of human availability, the greater the chance of profound and milestone discovery?
Some of these guys are really going to come up with something. That's what you're
really afraid of, isn't it?
But when these people cry "financing scandal" or
"conflict of interest" or maybe something creative like
"the sky is falling" or "wolf" it's gotta mean they're the barking dog on a leash. Money means power in the stunted mentality of the empire mongers and that's got to be buying off those
barkers who have aroused my skepticism of them. Especially when
they accuse others of being in it for the money. As the joke goes,
if there was any money in it they'd be in it too. They have all the
earmarks of propagandists. Black list in hand. And here comes the
hemlock right behind.
Now you can't fault a little propaganda every now and then. It happens. But not when it stops science.

Scientific Journals, Gateway
to Ignorance. Incredible as it may seem.
Pity those who take their contributions to the world with them to the grave.
Already untold millions.
