New York Sky Dancers, 1965, Greenwich Village Period, compressed charcoal on newsprint.
This is also a premonition. Maybe that's why I started churning out
drawings, because it was taking too long to get set up to do the oil
paintings. This premonition, like the one of the exploding
mountain, I feel too uneasy about to discuss for now (February 2004).
But maybe I'll get around to talking about them later, or get some new ones
done. The trouble is you have to wait, often up to twenty years, for them
to happen.
