Self Portrait

This one may look a bit primitive, but it's blurry and taken at an angle.  Quite often, I would go into the bathroom and use myself for a model (hey, I pose for free for me).  Here I apparently have yanked the water color easel out of the bathtub (I set up easels wherever I could, two back to back in the main room and one in the bathtub in the bath room) and you can see my busy expression as I quickly sketch the form on the sketch pad to my right.

As you can see, I still have some of the muscularity I had from my earlier years, but some of the emaciation of my meager diet while in New York is beginning to show.  These days it's easier to measure your protein, among other things, so you usually can get a minimum of fifty grams of complete pro a day if you do your homework, regardless of income.
